Aubrey graduated with her Master's in Counseling and has been working with children, adolescents, adults and families in various settings for over seven years. These settings include school sites, foster care, family agencies, mental health clinics and community groups. She values her ability to be creative and meet the needs of individuals and their families by building a supportive and caring environment, which includes an open-minded style incorporating gentle encouragement and warmth. Aubrey values the idea that everyone wants to be truly and genuinely heard for their story. She works with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, childhood disorders, adjustment with life challenges, relationship/family concerns, trauma, self-empowerment, grief and loss, and other mental health issues while helping her clients create more meaning and purpose in their lives. Aubrey is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which helps clients earn their power and strength back after a distressing experience. Her therapeutic background utilizes CBT styles with family systems incorporation, while keeping the client in mind as priority in the therapeutic relationship. Aubrey embodies unconditional regard for her clients as well as the ability to connect with and truly hear them in a genuine, open minded way.
